Kent University are hosting a talk and discussion by STWR about the radical vision for global justice that is contained within the Universal Declaration of Human Rights – particularly Article 25, which proclaims the right of everyone to an adequate standard of living.
Our presentation will outline the political and economic implications of rendering this Article into an enforceable framework of international law. We will also discuss the means by which we can achieve this formidable aim through a ‘people’s strategy for world transformation’, which is the essence of our campaigning work at STWR.
The talk will last for one hour including questions and answers.
