Activities

We are a not-for-profit civil society organisation that engages with global justice and ecological sustainability issues through our publications, educational resources and campaigning activities.

Our writings and educational materials are published on our website, and widely communicated through our various networks. We often present our work at conferences, civil society events and other forums in order to advance the education of the public in issues relating to the sharing of global resources.

Our organisational priorities are based on a simple vision of a more equitable world based on sharing, justice and right human relations. A call for guaranteeing basic socioeconomic rights (as encapsulated in Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights) is at the heart of our campaigning activities and participation in peaceful demonstrations.

Central to our work is also the publication of a series of books under the theme ‘studies on the principle of sharing’. These draw on many holistic perspectives to explain STWR’s vision of a peaceful worldwide movement to end poverty and save the environment. The ongoing publications—available in several different languages—provide an inspiring insight into the need for sharing the world’s resources under the auspices of the United Nations.

To learn more about our activities you can keep track of our events page, sign up to our newsletter, or get in touch with us directly via our contact page.
