And Still We Rise

STWR is hosting a stall at this radical one-day festival of panel discussions, workshops and training which will bring together social justice movements from all over the world to forge global solidarity and inspire collective action. 

The festival, organised by War and Want, will bring together 40 speakers from 25 countries, including: climate justice activists Greta Thunberg, Nnimmo Bassey, Tasneem Essop and Sabrina Fernandes; UK union leaders Mick Lynch and Sarah Woolley; UK MPs Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell; War on Want patrons – author Naomi Klein and journalist Owen Jones; human rights activist Lidy Nacpil – among many others.

Hear from and stand shoulder to shoulder with activists and justice movements from across the Global South and North: from Indigenous communities defending their lands from destructive mining corporations to garment workers taking on low wages and poor conditions in the exploitative fashion industry, to Palestinians demanding an end to colonisation, and trade unionists challenging Amazon’s tax dodging.
